Accountability Now?

I doubt it.   I have given up ever hoping for anything resembling accountability for our war of aggression and the crimes that have sprung from it.

WikiLeaks has posted a video they received through a Freedom of Information Act request of the murder of several people in Iraq including a Reuters journalist by U.S. Apache helicopter pilots.  You can see the video here.  I remember when this occurred and the uproar by Reuters, the typical coverup rhetoric by U.S. authorities and the thought even then that there would never be any accountability for it.

Interesting, though, is this blurb from The National Post on their article about this leaked video of the helicopter attack (here):

Yes,  WikiLeaks is a threat to national security but us waging an unnecessary war of aggression, killing unarmed civilians and covering it up is not.

Funny how that works….
