Movin’ Up To Corporate

In her farewell speech, Caribou Barbie said:

My choice is to take a stand and effect change – not hit our heads against the wall and watch valuable state time and money, millions of your dollars, go down the drain in this new environment. Rather, we know we can effect positive change outside government at this moment in time, on another scale, and actually make a difference for our priorities – and so we will, for Alaskans and for Americans.

And it seems that the outlet for effecting  “positive change outside government at this moment in time, on another scale, and actually make a difference for our priorities”  is to step up to GOP corporate headquarters, i.e. Fox News.

Sarah Palin: Fox News Contributor

Sarah Palin, former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, will return to her broadcast roots and take her conservative message to Fox News as a regular commentator, the cable channel announced Monday.

“I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox News,” Palin said in a statement posted on the network’s Web site. “It’s wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced news.”

Two peas in a pod.  A world devoid of facts and reality are perceived as “Fair and Balanced.”  Well, Glenn Beck will at least have a challenge in the crazy department.

But hey, I can see my TV from my living room.  I guess that qualifies me as a journalist as well.
